How I started with raw food
Anything but that ….”, I thought, when many years ago I first came across the raw food diet, which is so rich in vital substances.

Though it sounded very promising and logical, my preconception that uncooked meals quite simply couldn’t be enjoyable held me back from finding out more about raw food and natural food for a long time. But it wasn’t long before I was ready for a change, as were the times as well. I certainly had no intention of having a spartan diet of salad leaves

and seeds. The only way I could conceive of taking the step to a raw food diet was if it meant I could still enjoy the pleasures of life. Luckily I soon found that there is an immense range of delicious raw food delights and raw food recipes to choose from. I even created my own special word, so that instead of haute cuisine crue – gourmet raw food or raw food cuisine – I call the preparation of raw food “rawing”. Thanks to fantastic “rawed” dishes I found it very easy to switch to a raw food diet and gained a wonderful enhancement to my life.

Current events
I currently offer seminars on raw food preparation in a lovely ambience in Mechernich in the North Eifel region. On offer are weekend, 5-day short holiday and one day seminars. By helping with the preparation and going on our “herb walks” together, you get to find out how to integrate raw food in your life and take lasting pleasure from the success of the seminar. The main purpose of the walks is to get to know the different herbs and to get out into the fresh air. Many wild herbs are edible and are far more vibrant than the cultivated varieties and are therefore a great enhancement for “rawed” dishes. For real satisfaction and enjoyment we have daily “rawing sessions” together. Doing everything together in a communicative group in the kitchen, raw food menus with several courses are created which are rich in vital substances and amazingly stimulating for the taste buds, cells and the soul. Time and again it just goes to show that the way to the love of raw food is through the stomach!
